Which tasks do pumping-out and mixing systems solve?

Emptying of drums, containers and tanks with viscous products, metered feeding of components, preparation of mixtures and emulsions, dissolving of bulk components in a liquid. Such systems remove manual operations with heavy containers.

How can a product be pumped out of a drum without leaving residues?

For viscous products, systems with a follower plate and a drum pump are used: the plate is lowered under pressure and displaces the product, leaving a minimum on the walls. This is critical for expensive raw materials and for hygiene in production.

How does a dynamic mixer differ from a static one?

A static mixer has no moving parts and mixes the flow by means of the geometry of its internal elements — it is simple and requires no maintenance. A dynamic mixer has a drive and provides more intensive mixing, which is needed for emulsions and thick masses.

When is a homogenizer needed?

When a stable, homogeneous structure has to be obtained and separation prevented — in dairy products, sauces, beverages, cosmetic and pharmaceutical emulsions. The homogenizer breaks down the particles of the fat phase under high pressure.

Are such systems supplied fully assembled?

Yes. We assemble the complete system: pump, lifting column with plate, pipework, controls and, if required, a dosing and mixing unit. We adapt the system to the container format and the properties of the customer’s product.
