Global climate change has turned into one of the key challenges for the modern world. The burning of traditional types of fuel is accompanied by significant greenhouse gas emissions, which affects the environment, the quality of life and economic stability. That is precisely why countries and businesses are concerned with the search for solutions that make it possible to reduce the carbon footprint and switch to energy-saving technologies.
Company SPELS, together with the German private firm IPC GmbH and ProCredit Bank, held a meeting devoted to the analysis of the Ukrainian market of energy-efficient equipment. The aim was to determine which technologies and investments can help enterprises reduce energy consumption and introduce more environmentally friendly solutions into production.
One of the areas that attracted particular attention was packaging equipment, which belongs to the category of energy-efficient investments. Such projects make it possible not only to reduce the costs of an enterprise, but also to improve production efficiency, to control the consumption of energy resources and to reduce emissions.
The firm IPC GmbH acts as a consultant for financial institutions — in particular ProCredit Bank — on the opening of special credit programmes to support investments in the field of energy efficiency, green energy and environmental protection. Such programmes allow Ukrainian manufacturers to switch to modern technologies without an excessive financial burden.
Support for a green lending strategy in Ukraine is an important step towards the formation of a sustainable and energy-efficient economic environment.
