Masdaf - Submersible pumps (ENDURO)
The Masdaf ENDURO submersible pump is a sewage pump designed for raw sewage, sludge and liquids containing solid and fibrous particles. Operating range: flow rate 5–1,600 m³/h, head 5–50 m, speed 1,500–3,600 rpm, discharge flange DN 50 – DN 300, liquid temperature 0–40 °C.
Four types of impeller — and why this is the key choice
The series is available with four different flow-path configurations, and it is this that determines whether the pump can handle specific types of effluent.
Closed impeller — the highest efficiency, but requires a relatively clean fluid.
Open wheel — a balance between efficiency and off-road capability.
Vortex wheel — the flow passes through with virtually no contact with the blades, so blockages are virtually ruled out; the efficiency is lower.
A wheel with shredding blades — cuts through fibrous inclusions at the inlet. This solution is designed for drains containing rags and sanitary waste, where any other impeller would cause the fibres to wrap round the shaft.
A mistake at this stage costs more than the difference in the price of the pump: an incorrectly selected impeller results in constant stoppages for cleaning.

Engine and cable protection
The motor is protected on both sides. Water leak detection electrode indicates that liquid has entered the engine compartment before it causes a failure. Thermistor shuts down the engine in the event of overheating.
A shock-resistant, serrated oil seal ensures a tight seal.
Cable — type H07RN-F in accordance with standard TS EN 50525-2-21, with wire colours as per HD 308 and implementation EI4 (EPR). This is not just a formality: in wastewater, the cable operates in a corrosive environment and is subjected to mechanical stress every time the pump is activated.

Certification
