HYGHSPIN Extended twin screw pump

HYGHSPIN Extended — a version of the hygienic HYGHSPIN twin screw pump with extended casing and feed screws. It is designed for high flow rates and large solids at differential pressures up to 6 bar. Flow rate up to 300 m³/h, solids up to 67 mm.

How does HYGHSPIN Extended differ from the base HYGHSPIN?

Extended has longer feed screws and a longer pump casing. The manufacturer offers this version for two tasks: higher flow in compact dimensions and pumping products with large pieces without destroying them.

The difference is pressure. Extended operates in the low-pressure range: up to 6 bar differential, up to 4 bar for size 50E. The base HYGHSPIN delivers up to 35 bar.

Selection rule: if the product contains pieces and the line differential does not exceed 6 bar, Extended gives a larger passage for particles. For higher pressure, choose the base model or HYGHSPIN Double Flow.

What tasks is HYGHSPIN Extended chosen for?

Products with pieces. The extended screws pass large solids and keep them intact.
High flow at low pressure. High flow in compact dimensions reduces space requirements and capital costs.
Cleaning solution feed. The pump is cleaned and sterilised in place and can work as a CIP feed pump.

flow rate at the duty point;
differential pressure — it must stay within 6 bar;
product viscosity at operating temperature;
whether the pump will also feed the CIP cleaning solution.
