CHEMSPIN - Double screw pump (ATEX)

The CHEMSPIN ATEX pump from Jung Process Systems is a twin screw pump designed for the safe and efficient transfer of a wide variety of products in the chemical industry, especially in hazardous areas (ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 and 22). Depending on the temperature of the pumped medium, the pump is suitable for temperature classes T2 to T4.

Key features:

• Non-contact pumping principle: Ensures minimal wear and increased reliability.
• Explosion-proof motors: The use of motors in explosion-proof design allows you to adjust the rotation speed and ensures safety in conditions of increased explosion hazard.
• Temperature monitoring: Sensors on the pump casing and bearing supports monitor the surface temperature to prevent overheating.
• Seal flushing system: For double mechanical seals, a monitoring flushing system is available to maintain the optimum temperature and prevent dry running.
• Protection against dry running: For single mechanical seals, monitoring is provided to prevent the pump from running without liquid.
• Intrinsically safe couplings: The use of couplings without intrinsic safety or with intrinsic safety in an oil bath provides additional safety.
• Grounding: Equipotential bonding connections are provided, which ensures safety when operating in hazardous areas.
