REDA – Aseptic tank

Request a quote

The REDA aseptic tank keeps sterilised product under sterile conditions until it is fed to one or more aseptic fillers. Volume — up to 40 m³.

Steiner Ukraine is the REDA distributor in Ukraine. The common principles of REDA equipment, including UHT configurations and separator design, are described on the page REDA.

What is an aseptic tank for?

The tank is installed between the UHT plant and the filling line. It balances the difference in capacities and allows filling without stopping sterilisation.

The product leaves the tank with the same quality, taste, nutritional value and asepticity it had when it came from the UHT plant.

How does the REDA aseptic tank maintain sterility?

Two systems keep the aseptic chain intact. The first is a preparation unit for sterile air or inert gas. The second is a cluster of pneumatic valves that separates the tank from the environment.

The tank is designed to the strictest product safety requirements.

REDA aseptic tank: technical specifications

Parameter Value
Volume up to 40 m³
Products liquid and dense, including with particles and fibres
Sterile medium sterile air or inert gas
Option agitator with aseptic barriers

Which products can be stored?

The tank is suitable for liquid and dense products, including those with particles or fibres in suspension. An optional agitator with aseptic barriers keeps the product homogeneous even after long-term storage.

REDA uses the aseptic tank for drinking milk, cream, plant-based drinks, juices and special products. Aseptic storage reduces product losses between sterilisation and filling. Before sterilisation, the product can be prepared in the BlendyFlex blending unit.
