OMAC Series C Lobe Pump is the hygienic C and CF series for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The pumps have EHEDG and 3A certificates, front-loading mechanical seals and external axial adjustment. A version for explosion hazard areas is available.
OMAC Series C lobe pump: what simplifies maintenance?
The mechanical seals are fitted from the front, so they can be serviced quickly. Axial adjustment is also done externally. The operating principle, materials and certificates common to all series are described on the OMAC brand page.
The design allows complete cleaning in place. According to the manufacturer, this reduces hot water and cleaning chemical consumption.

In the vertical position the pump is self-draining. Both rotor types are designed for high efficiency and minimal product damage.
Where is the OMAC Series C lobe pump used?
In the food and pharmaceutical industries where EHEDG or 3A certification is required. The ATEX version is intended for locations where an explosive atmosphere of gases, vapours or mists of flammable liquids may occur. For a stainless steel gearbox and a version without rotor nuts, there is Series BF-F. For back pressure up to 20 bar, Series B in the HP version.
