Masdaf - Fire pumps (YPSP NFPA)
Masdaf's YPSP NFPA series pumps are single-stage horizontal split-case centrifugal pumps with double-suction designed for use in fire suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards. They provide high performance and reliability in critical situations.
Main characteristics:
- Suction flange: DN 80 – DN 250
- Discharge flange: DN 65 – DN 200
- Feed range: 50 - 2500 m³/h
- Pressure range: 20 – 180 m
- Working pressure: 16 - 20 bar
- Rotation speed: 1450 - 3600 rpm
Design features:
- The two-sided suction of the impeller with back-to-back design eliminates axial loads.
- The suction and discharge flanges are positioned on the same axis for easy installation.
- Easy assembly and maintenance thanks to the split housing.
- The low NPSH value ensures efficient operation at low inlet pressures.
- Possibility to connect both electric and diesel engines via a flexible coupling.
- As standard, the impeller, housing seal and gland are made of bronze, while the housing is made of stainless steel.
