KRAL K-series fuel oil pump — a three-screw pump for heavy fuels, lubricants and diesel fuel. Manufacturer: KRAL, Austria, and describes the range as versatile: this is the widest range of sizes in the range, from 5 to 2,900 l/min at a pressure of up to 16 bar. The parts in this series are manufactured to tolerances for installation on vessels.

Why is the K series called versatile

There are two reasons. The first is— span: one series covers even a small area a circuit comprising several litres per minute, and a main pipe with a capacity of 2 900 l/min. No other KRAL series is like this It does not provide a range.

Also available a balanced mechanical seal and end-to-end flushing — for circuits with an elevated backrest or a polluted environment.

The difference between a mechanical seal and a hard-wearing end cap — almost seven times the permissible inlet pressure. If the pump is situated beneath the tank, this is the primary selection criterion, rather than temperature.
