Masdaf - Drainage pumps (PSP)
The Masdaf PSP vertical chemical pump is a single-stage pump with a vertical shaft, designed for wastewater and corrosive process fluids. It features an open or vortex-type impeller. Operating range: flow rate 3–80 m³/h, head 15–50 m, speed 1,000–3,600 rpm, fluid temperature from −15 to 90 °C.
Which of the three series should I choose?
Masdaf has three vertical sump pumps, and they are used for a variety of tasks.

The PSP is the only one of the three that operates below zero, and the only one that the manufacturer explicitly refers to as a chemical pump. The widest speed range offers flexibility in selecting the operating point. If high flow rates are required, choose the MDP; if the task is simple and involves low temperatures, choose the PS/PSH.

Certification
The series is CE-certified. The manufacturer publishes an operating and maintenance manual for the PSP; copies of the documents are available on request.
Selection and service from Steiner Ukraine
A chemical pump is selected based on the medium rather than the flow rate: first and foremost, the composition of the liquid, its corrosiveness and temperature, as these factors determine the materials of construction and the type of seal. As standard, the shaft is sealed with a packing gland; for more demanding media, a mechanical seal is available. Next comes the choice of impeller type, based on the nature of the contaminants, the operating point and the pit depth. We calculate the operating conditions and ensure service and spare parts.
