Sidel Palletiser

Request a quote

Sidel Palletiser is end-of-line equipment that places cases, corrugated boxes, shrink packs, plastic crates and bottles onto pallets. Sidel produces layer, robotic and cobotic palletisers, as well as depalletisers and pallet handling equipment. Steiner Ukraine is the official distributor of Sidel in Ukraine.

Sidel palletiser: which model to choose?

The model is selected by line speed, pack type and the floor space available for palletising.

The model Type Manufacturer data
CoboAccess_Pal cobot palletiser low-speed lines
RoboAccess_Pal S compact robotic, combining robotics and cobotics up to 12 cycles/min, payload up to 25 kg, pallet height 1700 mm, less than 12 m² for two stations
RoboAccess robotic cell corrugated cases with glued or taped flaps, automatic changeovers
PalAccess modular layer palletiser small and unstable packs, fast format changeover
PalKombi layer palletiser, low-level infeed up to 5 layers/min with one pallet, up to 8 layers/min with two
PalPack 4000 layer palletiser the layer is formed by 2, 4 or 6 robots depending on infeed speed
EvoFlex high-speed single-column, low-level infeed automatic changeover in less than 1 min
PalLinear high-speed inline, high-level infeed up to 660 layers/h
PalRoboKombi and PalVite robotic island for crates, packs and loose bottles 450 cycles/h with 600 kg at the wrist to 550 cycles/h with 300 kg; up to 8 layers/min with two pallets
PalKombi Gripping gripping palletiser for plastic crates low and medium speeds, pallets up to 1250 mm

For low and medium speeds and limited floor space, choose CoboAccess_Pal, RoboAccess_Pal S or RoboAccess. For medium and high speeds, the layer palletisers PalKombi, PalPack 4000 and EvoFlex. PalLinear delivers the highest output. PalKombi Gripping and PalRoboKombi are designed for plastic beverage crates.

How does a Sidel palletiser form a layer?

For layer preparation, Sidel offers the modular AxoSmart and RoboSmart systems:

  • a dosing conveyor counts and separates the packs;
  • a flat-chain table conveys them at the right speed;
  • one or more gripper heads transfer and turn the packs;
  • the layer is assembled on the layer-forming table according to the selected pattern.

Format and pallet pattern changes are made in software, without mechanical adjustment. PalDesigner software is available for creating pallet patterns.

Sidel depalletisers

Sidel depalletises layer by layer, by column or robotically, with low-level or high-level infeed.

  • Sweepoff A and B — loose bottles and cans;
  • Depal Robokombi and Depal Vite 410 — robotic depalletisers for crates, packs and bottles;
  • DepalKombi Gripping — plastic crates;
  • DepalFlex — layer-by-layer pick-and-place depalletiser;
  • robotic keg palletising and depalletising.

Pallet handling equipment

With the palletiser, Sidel supplies chain and roller conveyors, transfer, rotation and distribution tables, shuttles, elevators and a pallet inspection system. The pallet transport layout is designed to fit the plant. After the palletiser, the pallet is stretch-wrapped; see pallet wrappers.

Where is the Sidel palletiser used?

At the end of beverage filling lines, in food production, and in home care and cosmetics production. The palletiser is linked to Sidel packaging equipment, which forms multipacks and corrugated cases. How warehouse and end-of-line automation addresses staff shortages is covered in the article “Logistics automation 2026: how Steiner Ukraine addresses the staff shortage”.

Selection and service from Steiner Ukraine

To select a Sidel palletiser, we clarify:

  • pack type and dimensions, weight and stability;
  • line speed in packs or layers per hour;
  • pallet dimensions, pallet height and pallet patterns;
  • floor area and ceiling height, product infeed level;
  • whether depalletising, wrapping and pallet conveying are needed.

Based on this data, we determine the model, infeed layout and scope of supply. This is followed by supply, installation, service and spare parts. Steiner Ukraine has been operating in the industrial equipment market since 2006.

FAQ about Sidel palletisers

What is the maximum speed of a Sidel palletiser?

PalLinear runs at up to 660 layers per hour.

Which Sidel palletiser suits a small line?

CoboAccess_Pal for low speeds, or RoboAccess_Pal S, which needs less than 12 m² for two stations.

Does Sidel palletise plastic crates?

Yes. PalKombi Gripping and the robotic PalRoboKombi and PalVite are designed for them.

Does Sidel supply depalletisers?

Yes. The range includes layer, column and robotic depalletisers for bottles, cans, crates and kegs.
