The REDA RE-T/TE series cream separator splits milk into skimmed milk and cream. The same machines are used for skimming whey after clarification.
Steiner Ukraine is the REDA distributor in Ukraine. The common principles of REDA equipment, including UHT configurations and separator design, are described on the page REDA.
How is the RE-T/TE cream separator built?
The hermetic inlet and outlet system feeds the product into the bowl smoothly and accelerates it to separation speed. Air does not enter the product, so fat globules are not damaged.
The bowl is made of superduplex stainless steel. Skimmed milk and cream are discharged by two rotating pumps; a separate recovery pump is not needed.
How does the separator drive work?
The direct-drive motor is mounted on the separator shaft. This reduces energy losses, footprint and the number of moving parts.
A direct gear transmission drives a vertical shaft with a soft spindle. A frequency converter optimises power consumption.

How does PRS reduce milk losses?
The standard PRS system enlarges the solids chamber. Discharges become less frequent, and less product is lost with each one. According to REDA, milk losses during discharge approach zero.
High separation efficiency is combined with lower power consumption and low maintenance costs.
The separator runs quietly, is easy to install and maintain and integrates easily into an existing line. It is installed together with the RTM standardiser and RE-P clarifier.
