Gorreri – Thermomatic cooling tunnel

The Thermomatic cooling tunnel is a Gorreri tunnel for cooling confectionery after coating or decorating with chocolate compound. Products pass through an insulated chamber on a polyurethane belt with automatic centring. Steiner Ukraine supplies Thermomatic tunnels and selects them together with the Enrobmatic enrobing machine.

What is the Thermomatic cooling tunnel for?

After the coating is applied, it must set before further operations. The tunnel is installed after the Enrobmatic enrobing machine or Decormatic decorator.

• automatic belt centring by photocells with pneumatic movement on both sides — the belt does not touch the side guards;
• rubber-coated drive roller with a diameter of 400 mm;
• mechanical tensioning with two large-diameter stainless steel counter-rollers;

• the central zone of the tunnel is fully insulated;
• two evaporator coils in the lower part;
• two external-rotor fans on hinges for access.

How does the Thermomatic cooling tunnel work in a line?

In a Gorreri enrobing and decorating line, products pass through the Enrobmatic enrobing machine, the Decormatic decorator if required, and then enter the Thermomatic tunnel. The tunnel belt speed is adjusted by a frequency converter. Cooling is provided by two evaporator coils in the lower part of the tunnel and two external-rotor fans.
