OMAC Series BF-F Lobe Pump
OMAC Series BF-F Lobe Pump is a hygienic series with an AISI 304 stainless steel gearbox. Series BF includes 9 models, from BF100 to BF390. Version F, without rotor nuts, has EHEDG certification and the “easy to clean” class.

Version F is chosen when the line requires EHEDG certification. The manufacturer obtained it after cleanability tests at the Technical University of Munich. What makes BF-F hygienic?
- a smooth cover with a new seal and no grooves, so cleaning solution does not remain;
- a forged casing without welds;
- a stainless steel gearbox that makes external cleaning easier;
- manual and electropolishing to Ra below 0.6 µm: optional for BF and standard for F.
Series BF-F supports all options of Series B, so the modular design is retained.
Where is the OMAC Series BF-F lobe pump used?
In food, dairy, pharmaceutical and cosmetic production where the pump is cleaned and sterilised in place and the external surfaces of equipment must also be stainless steel. For front-access seal maintenance and an ATEX version, there is Series C, and for 3A certification with a cast iron gearbox, Series BA-BB.
