OME Motors – Induction Motor (Standard)
The OME Motors Standard series induction motor is a three-phase low-voltage motor for driving industrial machinery. Power ranges from 0.18 to 2000 kW, efficiency classes from IE1 to IE4, voltage from 220 to 1000 V.
Standard series motors are used to drive pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and general industrial machinery.

Housing: aluminium or cast iron?
Smaller frame sizes have an aluminium housing with removable feet.
From frame size 160 the housing is cast iron with the terminal box on top. On request it can be mounted on the right or left side.
Which efficiency class to choose?
Four classes are available in the Standard series:
- IE1 — standard efficiency;
- IE2 — high efficiency;
- IE3 — premium efficiency;
- IE4 — super premium efficiency.
The class is determined by project requirements and the duty cycle. If the motor runs for long periods in S1 duty, a higher class reduces energy losses over the whole service life.
For variable-speed drives there is the permanent magnet series OMPM.

Standard series motors are supplied separately or together with industrial pumps or food-grade pumps.
