Masdaf - Fire pumps (YPSP UL / FM)

Masdaf's YPSP UL/FM series pumps are UL and FM certified single-stage horizontal split-case centrifugal pumps with double-suction for use in fire fighting applications. They provide high performance and reliability in critical situations.

Main characteristics:

• Feed range: 100 - 2000 gallons per minute (23 - 454 m³/h)
• Pressure range: 60 - 274 psi (44 - 188 m)
• Working pressure: 16 - 24 bar
• Rotation speed: 1800 - 2900 rpm
• Suction flange: 4″ – 10″
• Discharge flange: 2½” – 8″

Design features:

• The two-sided suction of the impeller with back-to-back design eliminates axial loads.
• The suction and discharge flanges are positioned on the same axis for easy installation.
• Easy assembly and maintenance thanks to the split housing.
• The low NPSH value ensures efficient operation at low inlet pressures.
• The pump and electric motor are connected to the frame by a flexible coupling; diesel engines can be used.
• As standard, the impeller, housing seal and gland are made of bronze, while the housing is made of stainless steel.
