From 23 to 24 April 2015, a meeting of Vacuum Barrier Systems agents was held in Belgium.
The purpose of this event was to share as much information as possible about the equipment, demonstrate the operation of liquid nitrogen dispensers, and of course, not without the presentation of the new CARBO solid CO2 dispenser.
Solid carbon dioxide, or dry ice, has a high gas density, which is 1.52 times that of air, allowing oxygen to be effectively displaced from the container with minimal mixing and splashing, and reducing the risk of overpressure in the bottle.
More importantly, the dosing system has been improved. Previously, the dispenser operated without a container, but now a container is built into the system, which ensures the supply of dry ice in powder form in adjustable, precise quantities.
The new dispenser is suitable for installation on various types of filling machines, with a capacity of up to 30,000 bottles per hour.
