The centrifugal working element of the drum pump is designed for fluid liquids. It will not lift honey, pastes, resins, thick adhesives and concentrates.
For such environments, the manufacturer has a separate range of high-viscosity pumps. The company developed the actual screw design in 2000 and has been developing it ever since.
The screw working element conveys the product in portions between the rotor and stator, rather than accelerating it. Therefore, the flow rate does not drop with increasing viscosity as sharply as in a centrifugal one.
