HAUS – I series separators for oils and fats
The HAUS I series industrial separator is a disc stack separator for vegetable oils, animal fats, waste oils and oil polishing. The series includes 16 models with installed power from 11 to 75 kW. Steiner Ukraine supplies HAUS separators, selects the model for the product and capacity, and carries out installation, commissioning and service.

How is the HAUS industrial separator built?
- parts made of corrosion-resistant duplex stainless steel;

How does a disc stack separator work?
The product is fed into a bowl rotating at high speed. In the disc stack the phases separate by density difference: the heavy phase moves to the periphery, the light phase to the centre. Both phases are discharged under pressure through paring discs, and the interface position in the bowl is adjusted by back-pressure valves on the outlet pipes. Solids collect at the bowl periphery and are discharged periodically.
Depending on the task, the separator operates as a clarifier (solid — liquid), purifier (liquid — liquid) or concentrator (liquid — liquid with adjustment of the light phase concentration).

FAQ
How to choose a separator model?
The minimum size of separable particles depends on liquid viscosity, the density difference between phases, capacity and separator design. The model is selected by product and required capacity; in certain processes, according to the manufacturer, the separator removes particles down to 1 µm.
How much does a HAUS industrial separator cost?
The price is calculated on request. It depends on the model, materials and configuration.
For marine fuel and lubricating oils, use HAUS M series marine separators, for olive oil — V series separators. For streams with a high solids content, use HAUS DDI decanters.
