MF TECNO – Closing systems
MF TECNO offers a variety of bag closing systems adapted to the specific needs of customers. Their automatic lines have a modular design, which allows them to be equipped with different closing systems and additional accessories for individual customization.
Sewing systems for bags:
Sewing is one of the most common closure methods, suitable for various types of bags. Several versions are available, depending on the required sealing characteristics of the product, including:
- Simple stitching
- Stitching through bonded paper
- Sewing with adhesive tape
- Sewing with hemmed top edge
The sewing process is carried out using industrial double thread sewing heads (synthetic or cotton) with forced auto-lubrication, adjustable speed and automatic thread trimming. The sewing speed can reach up to 30 m/min, depending on the characteristics of the bag. All MF TECNO automatic lines are equipped with automatic thread control, which stops the sewing process in case of a broken or missing thread.
Bag sealing systems:
MF TECNO has developed several heat-sealing systems that can seal any type of bag made of heat-sealable, laminated and coextruded materials. Depending on the bag material and customer requirements, hot bar or pulse sealing devices can be used. All heat sealing systems are electronically controlled and can be adjusted for sealing duration, pressure and time. The special design of the sealing bars allows for quick removal for maintenance or replacement of worn elements. MF TECNO sealing systems allow the use of the following types of bags:
- Bags with or without side folds
- Bags with blocked pleats
- Doy-pack or stand-up bags
- Bags with different types of fasteners
- Bags with handles
It is also possible to create a die-cut handle with double sealing bars. In the case of semi-automatic packaging systems, cost-effective and easy-to-use manual sealing devices are available, equipped with modern safety features in accordance with CE standards. Sealing can also be used to produce Pinch-Top bags, which are widely used in the flour and chemical industries.
