SAER – Submersible pumps (BALLAST)
SAER Elettropompe BALLAST is a series of high-performance submersible pumps with a large free passage, designed for pumping clean, technical, or lightly contaminated water. Thanks to their robust construction and resistance to abrasive particles, the BALLAST series is used in industrial, marine, energy, and municipal facilities, including for dewatering, ballast systems, and emergency water removal.
Basic models
BALLAST 6 — a medium-capacity model, optimal for municipal and industrial use.
BALLAST 8 — a high-performance model designed for large water flows and marine systems.
Technical characteristics
Main series parameters: flow rate — up to 700 m³/h, head — up to 50 m, power — from 15 to 132 kW. The casing and hydraulic components are made of cast iron or stainless steel AISI 304/316 (depending on the model). The impellers are of open or semi-open type, allowing the passage of particles up to 50 mm. The sealing system is a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber, providing reliable motor protection. Protection rating — IP68.
