Verderair - Diaphragm pump (HC-PURE)
The Verderair HC-PURE is a series of hygienic double diaphragm pumps specifically designed for applications where cleanliness and sanitary conditions are of paramount importance. Made from SS 316L stainless steel and electropolished, these pumps offer minimal risk of bacteria and contaminants build-up thanks to a smooth surface that prevents food from sticking.
Key features:
- Excellent cleanliness: Electropolishing reduces the average surface roughness, which makes it harder for products to stick and minimizes the risk of bacterial contamination. The process also increases corrosion resistance and improves drainage, simplifying the cleaning process.
- Ease of maintenance: The casing screws and manifold clamps are easily removable, allowing the pump to be completely disassembled for thorough cleaning. The combination of PTFE/EPDM diaphragms and a self-lubricating, oil-free air valve ensures long service life with minimal maintenance and downtime requirements. The use of an oil-free air valve also eliminates the risk of contamination in the event of a diaphragm rupture.
- Compliance with the highest hygiene standards: HC-PURE pumps are EC 1935/2004 and FDA compliant, ensuring they meet the most stringent hygiene and safety standards. The single-component manifold with smooth corners and bends eliminates areas of possible bacterial accumulation. Additionally, the pumps can be equipped with DIN 11851 or Tri-Clamp hygienic connections for improved hygiene and easier cleaning.
