Delta VacMap™ - is a truly innovative in-line packaging machine that produces attractive traditional packaging with a shelf life that has until now only been available through thermoforming. Particularly suitable for spongy products commonly found in the bakery industry, the integrated vacuum system allows the machine to remove the oxygen contained in the product itself.

Designed as an economically viable alternative to costly skin packaging and thermoforming, the Delta VacMap® combines vacuum and Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) in one machine. The vacuum system enables the machine to eliminate pockets of oxygen trapped inside the product. The result is a packaging line that produces attractive, traditional packages with the same shelf life characteristics as thermoforming, but at a significantly lower cost. Unlike thermoforming, printing the packaging is as simple as on a traditional horizontal flow packaging machine.

Cost savings are realised across the entire line, from lower film costs, increased productivity and reduced labour costs, as the Delta VacMap™ requires very little operator involvement.

If food products require a hygienic packaging environment, the fully automatic product feeding and handling system of the Delta VacMap™ meets the strictest requirements. Its easy-to-clean design minimizes downtime during cleaning while maintaining the highest hygiene standards.

The Delta VacMap™ line also boasts considerable flexibility, as it easily handles many sizes and can be used as a conventional gas-powered packaging machine by switching off the vacuum system, thereby increasing packaging speed.
