Delta VacMap® – is a truly innovative flow packaging machine that creates attractive, traditional packaging with shelf life characteristics that were previously only achievable through thermoforming. It is particularly suited for spongy products commonly found in the bakery industry. The built-in vacuum system allows the machine to remove oxygen trapped within the product itself.

Designed as an economically viable alternative to costly skin packaging and thermoforming, the Delta VacMap® combines vacuum and Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) in one machine. The vacuum system enables the machine to eliminate pockets of oxygen trapped inside the product. The result is a packaging line that produces attractive, traditional packages with the same shelf life characteristics as thermoforming, but at a significantly lower cost. Unlike thermoforming, printing the packaging is as simple as on a traditional horizontal flow packaging machine.
