New technologies for the confectionery industry

Automation is gaining momentum in the world. There are few high-performance industries left that do not use the services of various types of machines. Human labour is gradually fading into the background and giving way to innovative technologies. The replacement of human power with mechanical power has already affected many areas of activity. Now it's time to make some changes in the confectionery industry.

To stay afloat today, production based on a proven and seemingly reliable technology is not enough, as modern shops, confectionery workshops and cafes offer a wide range of confectionery products whose taste pleases the most demanding sweet lovers.

Another important aspect is that confectionery products often get boring to consumers, so rapidly expanding the range and producing it on highly professional equipment can be the key to success. Beldos N.V. equipment is a solution that allows you to unlock the secret of simple confectionery production. It presents a series of universal stainless steel volumetric depositors for a variety of processes in the confectionery industry.

A little history
Beldos was founded by the talented designer and engineer Rudy Van Linden in 2001. His excellent knowledge of baking and his vast technical experience enabled him to produce unique equipment.

In 1978, the future confectionery genius established his own bakery, Vander Linden. Later, he decided to combine his experience in the baking industry with innovative ideas in electromechanics, which led to the creation of Filler Systems Europe. Since 1996, Rudi has been selling depositors throughout Europe. In 2001, he started his own production. Today, BeldosN.V. operates on the international market and has a dealer network around the world.

Innovation in simplicity
Beldos equipment is a pneumatic piston machine made of stainless steel. Most machines consist of three main parts - a conical or cylindrical receiving hopper, a piston pumping station, means of feeding the dosed product into the moulds (hose with a gun, simple or 90˚ curved nozzle with different tips, multi-head) and control equipment.

The piston dosing pump is a compact, mobile module driven by a pneumatic cylinder. The metering pump delivers liquid, semi-liquid, thick ingredients with a fixed volume from a receiving hopper into moulds or onto a baking tray in portions. The product dose (regulated by the length of the piston stroke) is sucked into the piston pump cylinder in portions and then pumped into the mould.

Speaking about the design of this equipment, it should be noted that it provides for comfortable and quick disassembly, cleaning and sanitisation. The dispensers are easy to assemble and disassemble, so they are easy to operate. There is no single set of machines, as it is selected according to the process to be performed: the volume and shape of the hopper depends on the consistency of the product and the desired capacity, the outlet of the hopper (nozzle) is selected depending on the characteristics and tasks of the process (product consistency, presence of inclusions - nuts, raisins, pieces of fruit) and the client's wishes.

The machines can be controlled via the control panel, foot pedal or lever on the handgun for easy operation. On the control panel, you can select the planting parameters - specify the number of plantings or select continuous mode, set the time between plantings and the desired volume.

A worthy replacement for the pastry bag and measuring cup

Beldos N.V. develops and manufactures equipment for the automation of many processes in the confectionery industry:
- precise depositing on a baking sheet or in moulds (biscuit dough, cupcake dough, fruit mass, cream, mousse, sauces and many other products, inclusions up to 2.5 cm in diameter are possible);
- single dumping or multi-dumping on a conveyor;
- injection of filling into eclairs, profiteroles, etc;
- depositing multilayer products;
- transfer of the product from the tank to the depositor hopper,
- cake production (including affordable solutions for small bakeries and complete lines for industrial production);
- horizontal slicing of a round or rectangular sponge cake;
- soaking the sponge cake in syrup;
- filling round or rectangular cakes with cream and fruit fillings (middle layers, top and sides);
- decorating cakes.

Baking a cake is easy!
Beldos offers a very wide range of equipment. Particular attention should be paid to a series of equipment for the production of cakes - from depositing dough into moulds to decorating. Cake production lines are a modular system for automatic and semi-automatic cake production. It consists of a series of machines that perform the actions of depositing dough, cutting the baked cake, spraying syrup, spreading layers and decorating the cake. Each machine can operate independently and the line can be equipped with additional equipment depending on production needs at any time. All confectionery processes can be performed with this equipment quickly and without human effort, making Beldos a great alternative to the pastry bag, spoon and measuring cup.

The Belslice Press with adjustable belt speed ensures gentle and precise slicing of 2 to 6 sponge layers at the same time thanks to the use of a pressure belt. The Belsyrup system with two vacuum nozzles and centring devices is perfect for spraying syrup. The ergonomic Belcake machine with different nozzles will allow you to spread the cream evenly on the cake layers and coat the sides. For even more convenient and quicker cake decorating, an electric rotating table can be used.

Popular products in the confectionery market include eclairs, custards, cakes, profiteroles, and profiteroles, which are filled with MiniFill. For different fillings - from soft to semi-thick and thick masses - bases with different power levels are used - 60, 100, 230 W. You can also choose an optional hopper depending on the capacity - 8 or 15 litres. There is a range of nozzles for the hopper with one or two outlets and different sizes of confectionery.

Once again, the equipment of each dosing unit is selected according to the process parameters.
Beldos has already developed a number of solutions for the confectionery industry that will allow it to abandon outdated inventory.
