Sidel

Sidel is one of the world's leading companies specialising in the supply of filling lines for a wide variety of products. Sidel's main focus is on the development of PET bottle blow molding, filling, labelling and subsequent group packaging.

The company was founded in 1965. In the early 1960s, Sidel invented plastic bottles (PVC, high-density polyethylene) and developed its own equipment. In the 1980s, the consumption of PET bottles increased significantly, making the company popular. Over the years, Sidel acquired several other companies, such as Cermex and Gebo. Today, the Sidel Group is a multinational company covering the entire beverage packaging production process. Tetra Laval acquired the company in 2003, and now Sidel is one of the 3 industrial divisions of the Tetra Laval Group, along with Tetra Pak and DeLaval.

Sidel cooperates with international food companies and has already installed more than 30,000 machines in 190 countries on all continents. Sidel also has its own production facilities in 12 countries and sales and technical service centres in 28 countries.
