OMAC Series BE Lobe Pump is a close-coupled pump with the motor mounted directly to the casing via an IEC flange. The series is derived from Series B. The casing is AISI 316L stainless steel; the rotors are bi-lobe only.

OMAC Series BE lobe pump: why a close-coupled design?

The drive is attached to the rear cover with an IEC flange via a hollow shaft. The pump and motor form one compact, lightweight unit without external rotating shafts. It is easier to clean.

The manufacturer recommends BE for lighter duties instead of Series B. The series is intended for users who need a lobe pump with a high sanitary level at a lower price. The operating principle, materials and certificates common to all series are described on the OMAC brand page.
