The TMXFLOW stainless steel heat exchanger is designed for processes where corrosion resistance and hygiene matter. The housing and plates are made of stainless steel, so the unit handles aggressive liquids and demanding operating conditions.

It is used in the food and beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and in power generation. The general working principle of plate heat exchangers is described on the page TMXFLOW – Heat Exchangers.

Why a stainless steel heat exchanger?

In food production the heat exchanger is in contact with the product and cleaning solutions. The material must not corrode and must be easy to clean.

Stainless steel withstands regular CIP cleaning with caustic and acid. How to organise cleaning without stopping production is described in the article on CIP cleaning of equipment.
