The TMXFLOW brazed plate heat exchanger is a compact non-dismountable unit for transferring heat between two media. The plates are brazed into a single pack, so no frame, tie bolts or gaskets are needed.

Such a unit takes up little space and suits installation in confined areas. The general working principle of plate heat exchangers is described on the page TMXFLOW – Heat Exchangers.

How is a brazed plate heat exchanger designed?

Corrugated plates are stacked into a pack and brazed together. Channels form between the plates, through which the hot and cold media flow alternately in counterflow.

Corrugation creates turbulence, so the heat transfer coefficient is high. The unit has no gaskets.
