The Masdaf UKMS sewage pump is a self-priming pump for untreated sewage containing solids. It handles particles up to 76 mm in size. Operating range: flow rate 50\u2013730 m\u00b3\/h, head 4\u201340 m, speed 750\u20132,900 rpm, liquid temperature 0\u201360 \u00b0C. 2\u2033\u201310\u2033 flanges at the inlet and outlet.<\/p>\n

How does the self-priming mechanism work in the UKMS?<\/h2>\n

The pump is installed above the liquid level and fills itself automatically \u2014 there is no need to prime the suction line. The pump removes air from the line automatically on start-up, after which it enters normal operation.<\/p>\n

The suction valve is built-in and does not require separate installation in the pipework. It can be cleaned or replaced without interfering with the suction line \u2014 this is crucial for drains containing large solids, as the valve is the first component to become blocked.<\/p>\n
